Welcome to Green Bank Log Cabins in West Virginia!  While you are here you must check out our unique country store (Green Bank Country Store). We also sell antiques and collectibles on eBay and by phone order.  We have three original log cabins that were built in 1810 originally by a gentleman in Union, WV.   He was later killed in the Civil War at the "Battle of Gettysburg".  We moved the cabins north to Green Bank, WV, in 1998 and restored them complete with full kitchen, full bath, all linens, utensils, pots and pans, coffee pot, microwaves, etc. provided. They are set to accommodate up to 6 people and have one or two lofts each.  They are rustic with the old hand hewn logs yet restored with modern amenities to give you a very unique taste of West Virginia's yesteryear!!!!!!!    Finally, a full size mobile home with everything including the nice privacy of a bed and bath at each end.  So, if you want to escape the fast pace of life for a few nights or a couple weeks [great rates] please consider us for a memorable getaway!!!!!  Click here for pictures and descriptions of each cabin.

At the Country Store we have a great collection. Anything from homeade preserves and jelly, honey, maple syrup, yesteryear salves, and homeade icecream sandwiches, to bear traps, stone pipes, baskets, griswold, railroad lanterns, indian artifacts, civil war stuff and old shotguns. In the other end of the store is an assortment of bulk and old fashioned food. Stoneground buckwheat flour and pancake mix, gluten free products, snack mixes, old fashioned candy etc. We sell all inventory through mail so come see us or call. We're located 5 miles from Cass Scenic Railroad, one mile from the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO - Green Bank) and eighteen miles from Snowshoe Mountain Resort.
